Fast & Fixed

Fast & Fixed

FAST&FIXED (All-on-X implants)

Missing or losing teeth can have a negative impact on oral health, affecting quality of life not only aesthetically but also functionally. Difficulty chewing, speech problems, an increased risk of gum disease or further tooth loss are just some of the challenges some people face. Traditional solutions, such as removable dentures, do not provide the comfort and stability needed for a life without restrictions. Dental implant technology has revolutionized the field of dentistry, offering several innovative solutions to edentulous patients or those with compromised dentition.

The Fast&Fixed system is an alternative method of restoring dental functions in patients with pronounced alveolar bone atrophy. The Fast&Fixed technique is indicated for patients with total or partial absence of teeth, as well as in cases where the only way to restore aesthetics and chewing function is to place a removable prosthesis or a large number of implants.

Case 1,2,3

Who is the Fast&Fixed implantation system suitable for?

  1.   People who have lost many or all of their teeth in a dental arch.
  2.   Patients who have few remaining teeth in their arches, with an indication for extraction.
  3.   Patients who want a permanent fixed solution, without having to wear removable dentures.
  4.   People who have sufficient maxillary or mandibular bone to support implants and fixed dental work.
  5.   People who are faced with total or partial lack of teeth and minimal bone support where implants cannot be placed otherwise.
  6.   Individuals who want a quick total restoration of their teeth.

What does the fast&fixed (all-on-x) total rehabilitation method consist of?

In this procedure, implants are strategically placed to provide a stable and secure base for a fixed prosthesis. This provides patients with a complete, aesthetic and functional set of teeth, with increased comfort compared to traditional removable dentures.

The All-on-X procedure is based on the insertion of 4 to 6-8 dental implants in the upper or lower arch to support a fixed denture. Typically, 6 implants are used to secure a denture, but there are situations where more implants may be necessary to ensure good long-term stability of the implants and the fixed prosthetic work.

The advantages of dental restoration using the All-on-X method

  •     Rapid restoration – patients can benefit from a fixed denture within a few days after the implant insertion surgery (temporary non-removable bridge).
  •     Aesthetic results – dental prosthesis fixed on implants offers a natural and comfortable appearance, as a result you benefit from a rejuvenated facial appearance.
  •     Reducing the number of implants required – usually using only 6 implants, a stability similar to that of a natural dentition is achieved, with mastication being stable and controlled.
  •     Comfort and safety – unlike traditional dentures, fixed prosthesis offer much greater stability, eliminating discomfort or the risk of movement of the dental prosthetic work.
  •     Stops and prevents bone resorption – dental implants can help maintain bone structure, preventing bone loss that occurs following tooth extraction.

The stages of total rehabilitation using the All-on-X technique

Consultation and treatment planning

Initially, it is important to perform a detailed examination, where the patient’s oral health will be assessed, treatment goals will be discussed, and whether this treatment method is suitable for him/her. Likewise, an imaging analysis (CT) is also performed to determine bone density, which will allow doctors to carefully plan the procedure and identify the optimal positioning of dental implants. This step is important for ensuring long-term treatment success. After which, the personalized treatment plan will be developed, adapted to the patient's specific needs. At this stage, the number of dental implants required and their positioning will be determined to achieve optimal results.

Surgical intervention

The next step involves inserting dental implants into the jawbone. If necessary, tooth extractions are performed and the bone is prepared for implant placement. Depending on the patient's bone density and overall oral health, four to eight dental implants may be placed per arch. The implants are strategically placed at angles calculated to provide maximum stability and support for the prosthetic work and to evenly distribute occlusal forces.

Fixation of the temporary prosthetic work

After the implant insertion procedure, the temporary restoration will be fixed. This is one of the biggest advantages of the All-on-X technique, as patients obtain an immediate aesthetic solution, and in a few days the patient will be able to enjoy a new smile. In addition to the aesthetic benefits, the provisional restoration also provides rehabilitation of masticatory function.

Healing period

The healing and integration phase is essential for the success of the All-on-X treatment. After implant placement, a healing period of several months (minimum 6 months) is usually required for the implants to integrate into the surrounding bone tissue, a process known as osseointegration.

Final fixation of the permanent dental prosthetic work

Once the dental implants have fully integrated into the jawbone, the dentist will replace the temporary prosthetic work with a permanent one. This is a fixed bridge made of metal-ceramic or zirconium-ceramic and imitates the appearance and function of natural teeth so that the patient can enjoy their new smile.

What is the price of the fast&fixed rehabilitation system?

The price of the fast&fixed treatment is influenced by the number, model and brand of implants, the cost of the temporary fixed prosthesis and the cost of the materials from which the permanent prosthetic work is made. We invite you to consult our price list for the fast&fixed system.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is dental treatment painful?
No. Modern dental procedures are performed under local anesthesia, so discomfort is minimal or nonexistent. The doctor will adjust the treatment according to each patient’s sensitivity.
How often should I come for a dental check-up?
A dental check-up is recommended once every 6 months, even if there is no pain or visible problems. This helps prevent more serious conditions.
What should I do if I have a toothache?
It is recommended to schedule an appointment with your dentist as soon as possible. Avoid self-medication and delaying treatment, as the problem may worsen.
Is dental anesthesia safe?
Yes. Dental anesthesia used in modern clinics is safe and effective. The doctor will review your medical history before administering it.
How long does a dental treatment take?
The duration of the treatment depends on the complexity of the case. Some procedures may take 30–60 minutes, while others may require multiple sessions.
